There are training programmes at Garforth Town FC that cater for all ages from 6 months to 18 years giving children the best start in education and looking to develop their football skills through to play at a level which maximises their potential.

SOCATOTS is a pre-school educational programme for parent and child to develop their social interaction while developing number and colour recognition communicated using the medium of football. This programme is designed to kick-start a child’s learning and is ideal preparation for school as well as sport and dance.

When children reach school they then progress through to the Brazilian Soccer Schools to further their personal development as a football player. Using a unique training programme focussed on a small weighted ball that doesn’t bounced (Futebol de Salao) children build their confidence with a ball, developing techniques, touches and skills whilst simultaneously developing their physical cardio fitness.

Once in their teens the elite player of the Brazilian Soccer Schools meet on a quarterly basis as a National Squad to encourage competition within the players to be the best and strive to improve further.

At 16 and 17 years players are considered for selection for the Garforth Town U19s side that play in the Northern Alliance Youth League. These players continue their development under the management of first team coaches looking to nurture them for the future.

There is also an Entry to Employment programme based at Garforth Town FC which engages youths from disadvantaged areas through key skills tutoring, sports leadership and team building exercises to improve their employability and progress each learner into employment, education or training.
